At Hampstead Academy, our Early Childhood program for 3&4-year-olds is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, fostering a nurturing, play-based environment where children are seen as capable and curious learners. Our child-centered curriculum emerges from the children's interests and inquiries, with educators co-constructing meaningful learning experiences alongside them. Classrooms are designed as dynamic, inspiring spaces filled with natural light, open-ended materials, and areas for sensory exploration, dramatic play, and creative expression. Through hands-on, multisensory activities and project-based learning, children develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and social-emotional skills while building confidence and a love for discovery.
